Whale watch, dolphin watch, bird watch and occasionally, turtle watch, along with lake cruises, parties and functions are all part of the magic aboard the popular Forster-based Amaroo Cruises.
The family owned and operated enterprise has been cruising the Great Lakes – including Wallis Lake and the Pacific Ocean – for more than 40 years.
The specially designed 24 metre, $2.1 million vessel departs from its Forster mooring most days at 10am (weather permitting) for a scenic 2-21/2 hour dolphin and – during the season – whale watch cruise.
And, the best thing, the Amaroo guarantees everyone will get to see dolphins and/or whales.
